Biography
Dr. Engh is an assistant professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and director of the Neuroendoport surgery program. He specializes in multi-modality management of brain and spinal tumors, including minimally invasive Neuroendoport surgery, intraventricular tumor surgery, intra-operative cortical mapping, and microscopic tumor resection. The Neuroendoport technique is a minimally invasive method for brain tumor removal developed at UPMC. Dr. Engh also performs radiosurgery using the Gamma Knife and the Cyberknife. Dr. Engh holds a medical degree from the University of Virginia, and completed his residency at UPMC. He received his undergraduate training at Duke University. Dr. Engh is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He has published numerous academic articles on neurosurgery, including endoscopic surgery. Dr. Engh has recently been nominated by his peers as one of "The Best Doctors in America."
