Biography
Eric W. Wang, MD is assistant professor of otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and specializes in endoscopic
sinus and anterior skull base surgery. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Wang completed his residency
training in otolaryngology at Washington University School of Medicine and fellowship training in rhinology and endoscopic skull base
surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. During his residency, Dr. Wang dedicated two years as a NIH research fellow to the
study of chronic head and neck infections.
Dr. Wang has special interests in endoscopic anterior skull base surgery, management of sinonasal tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leak repair,
and revision endoscopic sinus surgery. His research interests include quality of life outcomes associated with endoscopic skull base surgery
and prospective trials in the management of chronic rhinosinusitis.
